Not usually, but if you did you'd probably be dead shortly after.
Fainting, also called syncope (pronounced /ˈsɪŋkəpi/), is a sudden, and generally momentary, loss of consciousness, or blacking out caused by the Central Ischaemic Response, because of a lack of sufficient blood and oxygen in the brain. The first symptoms a person feels before fainting are dizziness; a dimming of vision, or brownout; tinnitus; and feeling hot. Moments later, the person's vision turns black, and he or she drops to the floor (or slumps if seated in a chair). If the person is unable to slump from the position to a near horizontal position, he or she risks dying of the Suspension trauma effect.

Depending on why you faint, yes you will breathe, unless you faint dead away. If you faint due to congestive heart failure, you will stop breathing. You may faint during a stroke and that's 50-50 odds.

Yes you keep on breathing - in some cases more heavily if you fainted because of lack of oxygen due to holding breath or similar intake problem - in other cases more lightly if blood flow problem caused fainting.

Depends. Usually ,when you faint, you pass out, so you stop breathing, but your heart keeps beating and carrying used oxygen. When people faint and they keep breathing, they're just probably claustrophobic and not really in any real danger.

Yes, you do continue to breathe which is what brings you back to consciousness. But what causes you to feint is a sudden build-up of CO2 (carbon dioxide) in the lungs resulting in a quick drop of blood pressure, particularly to the brain, brought on by a sudden traumatic event (like seeing your teen age daughter kissing an older man or your husband kissing a strange woman, etc.).

Of course you may faint because you are not getting enough oxygen or blood to the brain. So when you fall out because the body wants you to stop doing what you are doing so it can get the oxygen or blood it needs in the brain.

yeah, they do.But that's only when they faint normally. If someone drops unconcious in the floor, he or she might be suffering from a cardiac arrest wich would mean that you have about 3 minutes to revive them before their brain is permanently damaged from the lack of Oxygen. But if they just faint they should be breathing to stay alive.
