Bought an intel motherboard D910GLDW, this the 6 th computer i've built, i put the MOBO in, and went ta boot it up, and got the black screen, i went over the instructions very carefully, to make sure I put it in the right way, i took the battery out, and i tried switching the jumper, but neither one worked. The board has an intel graphics media accelerator 900, and i'm thinking, it has to do with the video htich up, because right off the bat, i didn't get anything, any help would be a ppreciated. Oh I have 2 computers, this one works, I just up graded it, from a Shuttle to a Biostar MOBO, had know problems, the other one, everything is new, starting from scratch, you would think it would be easier.

the CPU is celeron 3,06 the max for the board, it works, and one of the power box fans doesn't work, but the problem was at the start, i can get anything on the monitor, it probably has ta do with the built in video card, i'm thinkin maybe the driver is missin

If processor cooler fan spins just for a second or 2 then stops, mobo could be grounded or rpm of fan not being detected or heatsink is touching an electrical circuit.

If fans are spinning, be sure 4 pin 12V power connector is connected to motherboard or properly seated. If you used an old power supply w/out that 4 pin plug, processor is not powered.

Also try a bare minimum set up; noFDD, HDD or CD drive. This set up should be able to beep once then display POST and open BIOS menu. If this works, one of the devices you disconnected has a problem.

Hi. Did you get a new PSU? Does it work? You do not say if the disks spin up so I assume they do. Can you put in a spare GPU to try? May be the on-board graphics don't work. This would be a start.

What cpu are you using? That board only supports the Celeron D.
