'Ubada b. as-Samit reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Receive (teaching) from me, receive (teaching) from me. Allah has ordained a way for those (women). When an unmarried male commits adultery with an unmarried female (they should receive) one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. And in case of married male committing adultery with a married female, they shall receive one hundred lashes and be stoned to death

i see it as, in those times people married at 12-13yrs old which made it a better law, eg married at 13, doesnt give anybody the time to commit such a crime, they properly dont even know what it means.

but now a days, it is alot different. some people dont even marry until they are in their 30s, 40s even. so the law can be a bit hard to stick by.

it is like saying, dont drink until 8pm, you need it to survive.

there are body parts that send out waves on a need, a need of 'adultry' it is a natural phase that EVERYONE goes through, some just find it harder than others to keep it in.

so really, the law is what YOU believe not what i believe, he believes. if you are Islamic and believe that is the right thing then so be it :) but i dont think if you are a certain race or religion you have to believe everything.

lol, while did Saudi grow to be religious? they are so self absorbed that they do no longer even ideas breaking each and every regulation of Islam. in certainty, they make their very own version of the religion and say it is the certainty! they have caste device that's a crime of equality emphasised by potential of Islam. i can circulate on and on approximately Islam vol 2 of Saudia Arabia. I lived in UAE for a on a similar time as. Its reasonably conservative and respects all religions. I had difficulty over there because of the warmth. in any different case, it grow to be relatively exciting.

Oh my God... your line of thought and reasoning and your dependence upon ancient "holy" texts (the Quran was written by humans, not Allah), is like an anchor on the progress of the human race. "Is Islamic law too lenient?" What a ridiculous question. A better question is: Why would intelligent human beings EVER mix religion and law?!? It makes no sense whatsoever.

Secular humanism is the path to peace and TRUE religious freedom.

In the Torah, it tells people to stone those who commit Adultery...you don't see that happening much anymore. Why? Because it is not humane.

Only love solves the problems of this world, not violence and hatred. Hatred and violence only spread anger...it never solves problems...Only love can.

Islamic religion is just like christianity, except it's way more strict.

Like you can't show lust for a women, there they would have to cover a lot of their body.

I think that was for their religion, or was it Muslim, is it a separate religion?

Ah, I don't know. I don't pay attention in history nor do I to current evens. Mostly to asia.

Your parentheses shows an inherent flaw in the Koran, which is that 50% of it is completely unintelligible. The translation doesn't even make clear whether it is the woman or the man to be stoned to death, but as it is male mullah's who do the reading it has always been the woman.

No, it is too stupid - especially the part about stoning people that change religion because humans decide it insults Allah - leave it to Allah.

No this is what a person deserve since that person has no discipline to stop himself from doing this crap. Btw you should read other parts of Islamic law, don't just one section of the law, or else there'll be mistunderstandings

There would be a lot of folks in trouble if Islamic law were in effect here in the U.S.
