When I was a kid, on the day after Thanksgiving, we would get a big group of guys together and play mud football down at the park that had a big open field that you would sink down 6". Everyone would be some shade of brown after a minimum of 15 minutes. It was a great time had by all.

Absolutely, playing in mud, fishing in crappy, cold weather just cuz the fish are biting......but this isn't really about mud.......is it......
