As long as he made sure the rubber band was wrapped around 5 or 6 times it should be good. I did it only 4 times once because it was turning purple, well that's how I gots me my little princess Esther.

my last 2 partners have been unable to have kids, and the one between had a coil fitted, so i've been lucky & not had to use them in the last 4 years or so
