I'm going to post the animations I did in 2005 on youtube, but if I made it in 2005, but I'm posting today, what would the copyright date be?

Would I say copyright 2005 or 2007?

copyrights are based on your death date, not the "publication" or "registration" date. a copyright notice is optional and it would be most correct to state the year that the material was first placed in a "fixed form", or 2005 if that is when the drawings were made.

2005 since that's when YOU made them but legally you should say 2007.
