The leafs have now lost their last 4 of 5 in regulation and 6 of 7 if you include OT/Shoot outs.
The leafs are like one of those bugs you cant squish cause it hides between the tred of your shoes.
what do they need to do to make themselves a better team? i have my opinions. And i could go on forever, but im tired and i dont want to, so instead i wanna hear your guys opinions! :P
If they lose to the coyotes tonight i will have officially lost all hope.

Blow it up and start from scratch. Hire a good front office and can the existing one. Trade guys like McCabe and Sundin and stockpile draft picks and prospects.
Trade you best players may seem foolish at face value but a team can rebuild quickly. Just look at Philly.
Picked up a good goalie for a 2nd round pick. Traded Forsberg for spare parts, prospects and draft picks. Picked up Coburn for Zhitnik. Traded Pitkanen and Sanderson for Smith and Lupul. These moves made for a quick rebuild and cleared cap space to sign the likes of Timonen and Briere. This is the type of thing that Toronto needs to look at doing-concede the season because they are not going anywhere, start preparing for the future, otherwise they will just keep wallowing in mediocrity.

Chris,
The Leafs suck. They are composed of a bunch of players who at best would have trouble cracking the line-up of many teams
Andrew Raycroft. Andrew's an NHL goaltender as his Calder Trophy would attest. But he's not an elite goaltender. He's more likely to represent his mom's RBC branch at the company hockey tournament than he is to represent Canada at a major tournament.
Vesa Toskala. In June, Doug Wilson was ready to give this guy the number one job. He had traded Nabokov to the Bruin and the Lightning, but they wouldn't take Bell. In the end, the only team to take Bell...wanted Toskala instead of Nabokov. He's played well, but he needs to play better.
Chad Kilger, John Pohl, Jon Battaglia, Matt Stajan, Mark Bell, Boyd Devereaux, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Simon Gamache, Kris Newbury
- these guys are in the NHL because they are playing for Toronto. If they were playing for other teams, they'd be in the AHLor gorging hot dogs in the press box. When you have 9 forwards that are borderline NHLers on your roster...you aren't going to win a lot of games.

i think of anyone concurs that ousting John Ferguson Jr. grow to be a reliable start up for the Leafs to tutor around....individually, i do no longer think of the coach is an exceedingly motivational individual....he does not tutor any emotion like a number of the different coaches interior the league. If shall we save Sundin, i could be for that. yet enable's think of roughly removing McCabe, Blake and Tucker.

Well, it's going to take a Reconstruction this side of the Burning of Atlanta (and one of epic proportion) to get the Leafs to match the massive expectations the fans have for the team. If anything, the core of the problems that make Leafs fans feel unrelenting nausea is the lack of concrete committment by ownership. The team needs to be sold, ASAP. If/when that happens, and the new owners take a page out of the Boston Red Sox's playbook, then expect a generous rebirth.

Ugh! It's not the end of the world if the Leafs lose. Now if the planet blows up then we have problems.

well, I DID take the 'Yotes to pull the upset tonight, so we'll see how that goes
During the Lightning's slump, it was very frustrating. You just gotta grit your teeth and wait it out. Things will get better.
