I've heard there is nudity in this film, but i thought "Hell, its animated, it cant be too much". I watched some of the trailers and saw that all you can really see is angelina jolies rear end. Her breasts have a gold tint to them so that you cant auctually see the nipple, just a little protruding skin.

The overall question is if a mature and stable 13 year old boy can go and see this movie with a couple friends.

Please tell me if their is any other nudity (Animated or not).

There is actually quite a bit of nudity in addition to Beowulf's mother (Angelina), and they show her full frontal. There is at least one implied sex scene at the beginning where you see everyone nude but they end that one quick. Beowulf is nude quite often. The king (Anthony Hopkins) even has his moment in the spotlight.

A mature and stable 13yr old boy is quite the oxymoron. Kids are going to see it anyway. I didn't think it was appropriate for the under 18 crowd and I am not a prude by any means.

Probably - there's nudity and a *lot* of violence but no explicit sex. There's nothing worse than the average Playboy pictorial. Note that while it is 'animated' the images are based on live people and visually almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

PS - The trailers stink - too much shadow and fade-outs. The actual movie isn't quite as dark.

i think so yes - even if he wasnt mature.

ive not actually seen it myself but my friend who happens to be a boy (he's not my boyfriend) whos 13 went watching it last friday and he said it was really gud. he said it wasnt that rude or graphic but not really suitable for any one under the age of 10 as u did see the odd bit of flesh from angelina jolie.
he said their isnt any sex scenes in it- he's not keen on stuff like that.

He may have to read the book in high school. I had to teach the book, and, frankly, I found it boring. So, go for it. Let him see the movie and be at least ready for the book when (and if) he has to read it as an assignment.
