If it's simply "Go Hillary" or "Go McCain" it's not a copy right issue. It becomes problematic if your t-shirt's expression claims it's representative of/or endorsed by any official campaign.
You can stop by any of their local headquarters, scattered throughout the country, and request a t-shirt. They'll probably give you one for free, along with some buttons, and fliers.

As long as you design your own Logo using their names, you are free to do what you want.
The only illegal things as far as that's concerned:
You cannot pretend to be supporter and give a false representation of a candidate.
You cannot use the Obama "O" or Hillary's name using her signature font.
You must make the graphics yourself and not copy them.
Good Luck... I support these candidates as well.

If the tee shirts are not personal or defamatory against any candidate I can not see too many problems, but if you just want to support as in your own 'personal' support message!! You do have some freedom of speech .

Candidates have their own tees made up already. Why don't you contact the candidate of your choice's HQ and ask. You can find out the candidates HQ by going online and putting in their name. That should give you all the info you need.

why don't you make Ron Paul shirts and stickers and signs ?
I'm assuming he would feel flattered that you went out of your way to do something like that, way more than any other person running :D
