I am sick and tired of listening to my parents arguing about this topic... My dad says that it is either root beer, or cream soda (yea right), My mom says cherry coke (HUZZAH!)... who do you agree with??? or do you disagree with both of them (and if so what flavor do you think it is)???

They're both wrong! Dr. Pepper is super popular in the Souther U.S. It's like Dr. Thunder, if you've ever heard of that. It tastes nothing like Cherry Coke, and nothing like root beer or cream soda, because I hate both, but i LOVE Dr. Pepper. It's not as sweet as coke or Pepsi. I can't describe it very well, just that it's delicious. I have about 3 a day!

I think it's like cherry flavored root beer! when I worked as a waitress we could mix cherry with something and make dr.pepper but I can't remember what it was, but it wasn't coke

acording to the Dr. Pepper museum they say it's a blend of many fruit flavors and other stuff that some pharmacist tried to make because he liked the way the pharmacy smelled and wanted to make a drink that tasted like the pharmacy smelled.

It's a flavor someone 'created' after being inspired by the flavor of a pepsi with a days worth of cigarette butts in it.
Seriously, it tastes exactly like Pepsi that's been marinated with Cigarettes.

I disagree with both of them. It is its own unique flavor. if you wanted to compare it to some other soda I think it would be closest to some regular cola, only it is just unique in and of itself.

according to the website, and some of the commercials, its an original combination of 23 different flavors combined to create the Dr.Pepper taste

Definitely tastes more like cherry coke, and this is probably because it has cherry syrup in it.
