Well, the first pro to a real tree is the smell. No need for candles or air fresheners to get the fragrence into the house. Another is picking out a tree. Especially if you do the cut your own rather than a tree lot, this can become a real family outing. Potted live trees can be used year after year as long as you keep them well watered and properly pruned. Without the pruning, you may only be able to use them for so many years depending on how big they were to start out with until they reach a point they become to big for indoors. And with the price of heating oil what it is, folks can then turn the tree into a little bit of firewood to help them keep warm for however long the wood lasts. The cons are the needles and having to keep watering the tree.
The pros of a fake are no needles or need to water. Plus you can set it up year after year. The cons are how long it takes to set up the branches before you can start decorating, no tree scent forcein you to use candles or air fresheners, and if there's any flocking you're gonna get it all over yourself both when setting up and taking down.
The con for both is that both are potential fire hazards.

Real Ones are nice but you have to worry about water, and the needles shedding, and they are usually expensive. Plus, you have to wait to get one or it will be dead by Christmas. The good things about fake ones is you pay an expensive price only once and you can use it year after year. Also the fake trees can come with the lights already on them. I hope this helps!

i for my section get exhilaration from a actual evergreen tree. yet we had some problems with the tree's pine needles falling a lot by using tree being to dry contained in the nice and comfortable domicile. So we've now a man made tree. and that i'll ought to admit, no longer like the former pretend timber(that looked like a tree with anorexia!) The tree we've had the basically top 5 or 6 years does look actual! I surely have had human beings come over and remark about it being an excellent tree. And when I tell them that it truly is synthetic, they can't trust it! even if the element you aren't getting is the scent of a actual tree! MMMM! Makes me opt for to placed my tree up now..:)

i think real ones are much better for these reasons
-the smell goes thru your house
-don't need to put it up and make sure every branch is perfect
- i have a cat and the fake ones are all even so you can see the gaps and cat can climb it
-tips over easily
that is why i LOVE real ones!!!!

It does not matter what kind of tree you get, Christmas is about family and that is what counts the most.

look its easy to get a fake one adn nobody will commetn on it because its a fake tree and nobody(like friends) will make fun because getting a real one and putting it at home or outside is difficult and hard work so just get a fake one and decorate it

Fake one. Saves money over the long term and saves trees. And they look just as good or even better.
