I have windows XP and dont understand what the problem is

I have rogers hi speed internet and I did the disc defrag and now it went up to 31MB and it seems frozen again. YIKES!!!

There are alot of variables, but the main problem may be what you are using? Is it dial up, or are you using system through your cable provider. Or maybe even DSL? I know this is what I have and it can be slow downloading at times!

try restarting the download. if it still runs like that, disk cleanup, and defrag, then try again. it takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to download new versions of itunes, and i have dsl. if youre running dial up it can take up to an hour, maybe even more.

i think you mean 51.68 GB
there hasnt been a computer resticted to 50 mbs since the 80s
thats about 10-20 songs worth of memory
maybe the internet connection is the problem
maybe try downloading the update on another computer and transfering it using a memory stick

You may not have a very high speed internet connection and/or the sever your downloading from is very busy. Just wait for it to download.

defrag your pc and check to make sure you internet aint slow
