Fed up with what exactly about immigration? There are a lot of factors in immigration, buddy.
Historically speaking, immigration tends to improve economies, diversify cultures and present stagnation. The most English of dishes, fish and chips, was bought here by Jewish immigrants in the 17th century.
Loads of Poles live near me and they are alright people who seem to work very hard.
So I suppose I'm for it, overall.

Yes I think immigration is essential to the future of this country. Unless we get more workers in from other countries in about 30 or 40 years time we are not going to have enough people working to support the OAPs Every government knows this but encouraging immigration is not a vote catching idea

It's not a matter of being fed up with immigrants. When we read of cuts in the tax office leading indirectly to the loss of 25 million names and all that implies, cancer patients being denied drugs because of the cost, underfunding of councils leading to above-inflation rises in council tax, our troops lacking proper equipment etc, etc
Then we resent the financial burden caused, as we see it, by immigrants, especially illegal ones, or criminals.

working valid immigrants stimulate the economy and help a sagging workforce.

im more fed up with the government as they seam to have flung open the borders, failed to provide accurate in/out figures check criminal records or even spared a thought for infrastructure such as housing or medical care.

Do they know what they are doing?

Whoever has those discs probably knows more about who's in the country than the weak government at the min. +rant over+ !

I'm not anti-immigration. I'm just anti large-scale immigration.

Well controlled, small scale skilled immigration enriches a country.

Large scale "pack em all in, every man for himself" immigration causes problems, especially for those at the lowest end of the workforce.

Yeah I am pro-immigrants as many are hard working and vital to the economy, I don't think every person should be tarred with the same brush, every case is different.

The more Polish people we get in the north of Ireland, the better.

Edit: Why the thumbs down? Is someone out there prejudiced against the Polish people? Very small-minded, I think.
