If you want to take a religious angle on this then perhaps it is.

If you take a reality check on this question then making people jealous is a very natural (although annoying) trait of the human nature.

Making another jealous is our way of calling out for attention and gaining confirmation of our own self worth.

Everyone needs to feel wanted and loved. There can be much better ways to do this. Ways that hurt no one and encourage all parties involved to blossom emotionally.

Try sitting down and watching a 'feel good' movie with another person then after the movie when you both feel cheerful talk about what you enjoy about each others personalities/physical appearance or other aspects of who you are. You can do this with a friend or lover or even a family member.

No it's fun, at least I think so. I wouldn't do it just because, I did it to teach the guy what goes around comes around and it worked. Plus I love to see them get all upset and you get to say back now how do you like it! It's immature and I don't do it unless it's done to me first. It's not a sin, think of it like Chocolate, one piece why not? The whole box then it's a SIN!

Take Care !!
