I was shy before but not anymore. First things first, you have to know your strenghts and weakness. You don't need to prove your worth to everyone unless they know you so well like your parents because as good parents they should know what are your capabilities. Second, choose your set of friends. Those who will accept you who you really are and will always be there to back-up you in whatever and whenever situations. Thirdly. always keep in mind there's nothing to be embarassed about. Go for your goals even if they seem impossible, your family and friends will always be there to support your actions and beliefs.

wow, i've always been very outgoing but sometimes i do find myself being shy, especially around older people. the most advice i could give is too just relax and go with the flow, think about what you want to talk about before you say it. if you get really stressed out about stuff like this to the point of anxiety then try talking to a therapist about it. in the mean time you'll be okay, just don't put up a front and be yourself.

Just remember who you are. Convince yourself that you ARE that crazy girl, that you ARE the girl thats loves to talk, that you ARE whoever you want to be. Forget about who you're being now. Who cares what others think? Even the strangest people can find friends (I'm not calling you strange lol) so just imagine what you can accomplish. Akward moments? Everyone has them! It's part of life, don't feel down over people who are just as worried as you. They may not seem like it, but I'm positive that somewhere deep down, they share your feelings. <3 <3 <3

Talk about the weather
Talk about the news
Talk about how much the school sucks/rocks \m/
Dance in the halls to make people laugh
Try and tell jokes
Find your old self again!
I've been there, sistah. Especially in 10-12th grade. I have since recovered, become more open and am now my interesting, funny, laughing and talkative self.
Good luck cause it's NOT easy to rise above it!

Try telling a close friend how u feel it always helps me over come my problems . One thing u can do is try keeping it cool by never caring about what people say and feel about you its there issue if they can't except you for who you really are then you know those people you really hang out with aren't really your true friends!!!

I have the exact same problem. I know this answer probably isn't the one you're looking for, but there are a lot of people who are going through this. You're not alone, I hope that helps.

Try not to think to much about what you're going to say. Speak from the heart and you'll never have a problem speaking your mind.
