3x(2x-y)(2x+y)

divide both terms by 3

3(4x^3 - xy^2)

divide both terms by x (only one x because x^1 is the lowest power so that means you have the fewest number of them)

3x(4x^2 - y^2) <-- answer

1728x -9x -9y
1719x-9y

the first ans is right- 3x(2x+y)(2x-y)
