It never ceases to amaze me that people would denigrate the greatest nation in the world for no reason, our country is no deteriorating and it never will.

I have absolutely no idea, however I would guess it is deteriorating.
I and probably the majority of planet Earth are wanting to know the speed of this deterioration because with an internal deterioration, there will certainly be an external insidious involvement in other sovereign nations.

ps. Can I assume the 'good' news you refer to applies to Americans and not for the majority of the world's population?

As a republican, I am here to say that no we are not. Everything is just fine. We are the greatest country, and we will always be.
Everything you hear about record budget deficits, record trade deficits, record debt owed to china, record outsourcing of the jobs of american workers overseas, record illegal immigration taking jobs from american workers and depressing their wages, record pissing away of tax dollars unnecessarily overseas, and the so called health care crisis etc..etc.. are nothing but lies, and is obviously part of a liberal plot to make Bush look bad by america hating liberals.

God Bless President Bush, support our troops, and stop criticizing your country, and fall in line with the rest of the patriots.
