I'm very happily married to a bloke i find totally gorgeous, but I find that, at different times in the month, I get different amounts of drive. For about two weeks, I can't get enough of it, & almost wear him out, but then the other 2 weeks, I'm not so enthusiastic. It's not that i don't WANT to, it's just that I find it harder to 'get in the zone' mentally. What can I do to increase my drive in those times? (He's great at what he does by the way!! No fault of his!)

And it is no fault of yours, when you are at your "best" it is probably around that time of the month, I know I am!!! :), and when I am at my worst, it is after that time of the month.

It is hormones, you are active in the beginning and then after that time of the month your body just gets tired because of hormones, and then after a while, bam!! You are ready to go again!!!!

All I can say is exercise, vitamins, eat foods high in energy, and get plenty of rest, and when you take your vitamins, make sure they are the ones that have extra energy supplements in them!!

I have the exact same problem...And this is something new for me. I haven't always had hormonal surges. For years I suffered with low progesterone and high testosterone. Meaning that I couldn't conceive...but my sex drive was out of this world. I was insatiable. For some reason over the last few years my hormones changed. And yes I finally conceived. But I've noticed about two weeks out of the month I struggle to keep my sex drive up. Usually the week before and the week of my period, I'm as horny as a dog in heat. But the other two weeks, I have a real hard time getting into the mood. So considering that I've been on both side of the hormonal scale, I can definitely tell you that it is hormonal. Though I can't offer any solutions, sorry.

That's really hormones. Not much that you can do about that. I'm the same way at times. During the month, there are times I am more aroused than others. Sometimes, I can't keep my hands off him, others I am indifferent. If you are really concerned, consult your physian, but it sounds natural.
