Please give links if possible. I wanted to know if we are allowed to privately slaughter dogs for consumption. Do we need a permit or license?

I'd treat it like any other animal. Slaughter it humanely and dress it out like you would with a deer. Don't make a public spectacle of it - too many bigots in the good old USA.
