I find it easier to push! As you can just walk into the door and it's opens! Sometimes it doesn't work though, the door is locked and you slam into it! Not nice! x

I haven't really thought about it, but I guess push, if I have a lot of things in my hands, then everything might fall or something.

It depends on what sign the door says

If a door says push I push

If a door says pull I pull

Plus it depends on the mechanisms of the door itself

But if you could open it both ways I would just push

well for me a door to get out off the public toilets should be a push hate the fact of having to touch the handle of the door to open it knowing that the person who has just walked out the door hasn't washed there hands

Hee hee, I hate it when you embarass yourself trying to pull when its a push door or visa versa! Yeah I agree that pushing is easier, but our student's union have these massive heavy doors that push from either direction, and they swing loads, so if you're walking behind someone who's just gone thru the push door it can swing back and whack you which isn't good!

Push, it's easier. In Europe, like all the buildings have doors where you have to pull to get out.

Push! Have you never tried pulling open a door with a coffee in each hand? Not fun

Doesn't really matter... I guess I unconciously look at how the door is set, and push or pull accordingly... except at some businesses' glass doors, in which case I always manage to do the opposite of what the big sign says to do.

I call those, "Homer" moments. D'OH!

I like to push but my favorite is the automatic doors that open when you stand in front of them.

Push, so I can open the door even if my hands are full.
