Like so many other people on Yahoo Answers, you have left out key information that we will need to answer your question intelligently:
First, the mint mark, if any, is located on the back below the eagle. The possibilities are no mint mark (Philadelphia, the most common), O (New Orleans), S (San Francisco), and CC (Carson City, the scarcest).
Second, condition of your coin makes a big difference. A heavily worn coin will be worth barely over the value of the silver content, which is about $11. A coin in as-new condition is worth anywhere from $40 for Philadelphia to $400 or more for Carson City.
I don't mean to be rude here, but there are a lot of non-collectors here that genuinely don't know how to ask this type of question. Earlier today, I saw someone asking about a Confederate banknote dated 1867 - two years after the Confederacy ceased to exist. If you need more info, e-mail me through Yahoo Answers.

join some communities or groups in orkut or yahoo related to coins. U can interact with a lot of collectors and dealers. I am myself a part of some of them. If u need further help, drop me a mail...

I saw some for sale at a coin dealer's yesterday for $15 apiece. He would have bought them for a bit less than that, maybe $12.
