Pro-choice. I believe that a woman has a right to chose if they want an abortion or not. People who are pro-life only care about the unborn and stop caring about the baby after he/she is born. I believe that abortion is a personal issue that should be dealt with between the mother and father and the government should not be involved. Other people's opinion about abortion should never influence abortions laws. If women are pro-life, then simply don't have an abortion. But don't take the rights away from other women.

Reproductive rights should not be a part of the political dialogue. Reproduction, like sex, is a personal and private matter.

My personal convictions with regards to the evil of abortions do not translate into a call to action to limit the free will of others to choose between what they perceive as right and wrong. Each person is judged according to their own conscious and every person is judged alone.

For this reason the "Pro-Life" political position reeks too strongly of authoritarianism and theocratic encroachment on the state apparatus which should be impartial and amoral in the rigorous pursuit of the defense of the liberties of its citizens (citizens being defined as those BORN within the national borders or naturalized by law).

So then, I suppose I would be considered, politically, Pro-choice.

Pro choice. I would consider pro life if the church changed its position on birth control.

For a long time I was pro-choice but when I really read up on it I became pro-life. There are so many people out there who would do anything for a baby of their own so it'd be incredibly selfish to end the pregnancy - not only would the baby die but a loving family would lose out on being able to love and care for that baby. Nowadays you can give a baby up for an open adoption- your baby's adoptive parents are the mom and dad but you still get to see them grow up.

With tons of free clinics, planned parenthoods, and sex education programs- people shouldn't be having unplanned pregnancies as much as they do. Of course there are honest mistakes - the pill isn't 100% effective and condoms do break but I think some girls just want to trap a guy in a relationship and are left bewildered and alone when the guy leaves them because they aren't ready to be fathers.

pro-choice. I do not really approve of abortion, but it is not my place to dictate to others. This is a highly personal issue between a women, the man involved and her doctor. Every one else just needs to shut up.

pro choice definitely - there are so many ladies out there who scream and shout at their kids in the street, dragging them along in cheap filthy clothes, smoking in their faces, popping out more babies for an extra social security benefit. it's so easy for pro-lifers to wrap everything up in glittery wrapping paper with a bow and say 'ahhh a lovely ickle baby should have a choice to live'. they should open their eyes to what is going on in society instead of sticking their heads in some kind of 'life is beautiful' book

Pro-choice because pro-life people are way more annoying.

Pro choice all the way. It's my body, my decision. Better no life at all than an unwanted one. Have you seen the number of unwanted children who will NEVER be adopted and will grown up in the system??? By any chance are we underpopulated? Are there any Pro-Lifer's stepping forward to adopt?

And that poem about abortion is ridiculous. As if babies, either unborn or born can love or have these kinds of thoughts and insight.

Pro-choice, because I simply think the woman, not the government or the activists, should make the decision.

Pro choice. No girls using coat hangers. Crime went down 18 years later. Over population. Every seed is not sacred. As soon as I have sex with my girlfriend there is not a 3rd person in the room.
