you need to open internet explorer and type the router's IP address into the address bar. This address is i the following format ###.##.##.# for example, mine is 192.168.11.1. this number can usually be found on the bottom of the router or in the router documentation.

your router will have a default WEB inteface and it can vary depending on the brand. Try to play with these types of addresses.

192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1
192.168.0.254
alternate between 0 and 1 for the 3rd octet and 1 and 254 for the 4th octet.

The key sometimes is printer on the lable on the outside of the router as well, atleast my DSL 2 wire router used to be that way.
