Like through text messages and your brain can talk to you soul, both the brain and your soul could give you one option each for getting your internal organs back into peak condition. The brain says while there are certain risks and will cost an arm and a leg and while medical advances have come a long way both good and bad, go with the medical profession. But your soul says for the good of not only your internal organs but you body entire go with an herbalist who is known world wide and you won't have to spend tons of money, which you you choose to use, your brain or your soul?

Myself, if I had some one to share my life with, I would go with a reputable herbalist, but since I have no one other than my friends I would probably let the doctors' cut me up and be in pain for the rest of my life. Sort of a do as I say, not as I do situation?

Hmm these are some good topics i've found in the Senior Citizens section.
While i do smoke marijuana i prefer hard proven science... Hahah not that marijuana counts as really an herbalists' whole bag of tricks.
If i had to be hooked up and left in a bed my whole life but have very healthy organs or go with an herbalist and be indepedent i'd want to be with the herbalist. Hell i rather be in a lot of pain and be indepedant than be in a bed. Why am i thinking these things i'm only 17.

Wally, you don't sound like the Wally I met just a few months ago. Maybe Min is right to tell you to look at the possibility of depression. I suffered with that and found out I have SAD which crops up when the days grow shorter. I use a therapy sun lamp through the winter months and have been o.k. for over ten years now. Listen to your soul that is telling your brain something is not right. o.k.

It has become common knowledge that the brain does communicate with the internal organs. In fact the stomach has more nerve endings than the brain itself. This is why meditation is so beneficial to a healthy body and mind. I don't really believe in a soul in the traditional sense. And the mind and body are one and the same.
In order to find someone to share your life with you have to be someone that others want to be around. Get out there and live.

Wally I have to agree on the comments that you have to get
out more. Especially if you are able to walk and get around OK. You don't have to go through the doldrums. Heavens' to
Betsy. I'd be out doing all sorts of things if I was more mobile.
Well maybe not, it's freezing out there LOL. But I'd at least
be where it's warm and comfortable on a day like today, but
where there are people.
In answer to your question tho, I would use both my brain
and my soul. I cover my bases, for sure. And there are some
natural remedies that can conflict with the meds I have to be
on. So I follow my doctor on that. I would like for my organs
to talk to my brain and let the brain know what needs fixing.
So then I wouldn't have to get immaging exrays to scan my
body parts and expose myself to more radiation.
Dr Andrew Weil, is a well known doctor out of Tucson, and
he's got books galore out on keeping ourselves healthy with
good nutritious foods and herbal remedies. But even he
points out that when all of these fail, you need to see a doctor.
But try to avoid the chemical meds and try the naturals' first.
Oh and getting back to the lack of women in your life, you
must analyse yourself, and ask what you've been doing
wrong not to keep women attracted. Maybe you scare them
off with something you say negatively. Maybe you seduce
them verbally? Maybe they want you to respect their minds?
And not want to just be a sexual object to you? There's got to
be a reason. You sound so sweet to me. But maybe we're
not seeing the other side? Seems to me, there has to be
another side, or you'd have them flocking to your door, now
wouldn't we?

Wally you recommended herbdr.com or whatever the site was and I went there and read for quite awhile. You've gotta keep yourself at your personal best--to the best of your ability. That someone will come along and dang it you'll be half the man you are today. It is just a long 4 days after the holiday. You've spent too much time inside and alone. You never know when going in or out of your apartment, or at the grocery store, library, bookstore someone is going to strike up a conversation. And bada boom they are going to want to get a cup of coffee or soda and pick your brain about good books. Can't you see this in your future Dude?

I am beginning to be thankful for Kaiser! IF I had to treat myself at GNC, I am not so sure I would make it through the day! And, so far, I have not had to choose giving up an arm and leg to stay alive, but then, the day isn't over yet! I have found,in life, it is not so good to make statements where situations can change by the minute....hell, my monitor could blow up and take an arm and leg with it...perhaps that is a good reason to get the hell away from the computer! I think you could always give the herbalist a shot and after a determinate period of time if it wasn't working for you couldn't you always go to the 'regular' doctor?
Being alone doesn't have much to do with it really, it's YOUR decision. Whatever you choose we're all with you!

I'm one of them people that only go to the doctor when it's absolutely, positively necessary, or in other words, when my hubby literally drags me there because I'm not getting any better. By then though I usually wind up with antibiotics out the wazoo. But truthfully, if I could find something herbal to replace my Abuterol for my asthma, I would or the antibiotics for bronchitis and pneumonia I'm prone to get, I'd do the herbal thing in a heartbeat.

If my internal organs could communicate with my brain...I think they would be telling me to secure a passport & go hunting for Canadian Geese before I get ready to give up on the packaged food that I have lived on all these years! I won't take meds & herbs make me feel horrible. The only thing I would do differently is burn those sad eyed doll paintings before they ended up in the vintage shops for re-sale. Other than that...go have an ice cream & think of me!
Holidays can use a good overhaul...you'll be just fine in another 40 days or so. Keep on keepin' on Brother Wally!

If the herbals are doing what they are supposed to do, and you feel that this is the way that you choose to treat, do it.
I do herbals. They're helping, they're not addictive and they give me a sense of well being. These are the important reasons why I take them.
By the way, Wally, it was my mind that told me to start doing herbals, not my soul. And, it was right!
I've still got my arms and legs, for the time being anyway!
