I just think it is because she doesn't want to be seen kicking acts off, thus leaving it up to the public vote and koping out.
Danni would have done the same if she had the last vote, they like to have a nicey nicey image. This will always happen when there are even numbered judges voting.
The new DEADLOCK thing was a bit naff lol

Maybe Sharon thought it was the fairest way to do it -- last week i agreed with someone here that the public should have the final say - not the judges - i was hoping 'hope' would have the least votes - really don't think Sharon had any other agenda...
just an added thought - maybe she was scared of Simon if she said hope - and didn't want to hurt Louis by saying bev...

You probably have a pathetic existence and you think the way to improve it is to be a known singer. But as you are probably a bad singer, you think the only way to achieve your "dream" is to go to a TV show, where music is replaced by reality show. But I suspect that you don't want to be a singer, you probably had parents that did not give you much attention so now you need a celebrity status to overcome that problem. Also I suspect you are a liar, as it is not normal for kids to sing solo in Portuguese churches. The good news is that this is not an impossible dream. Just dress like a douche, say stupid things and scream really loud when you get out of tune and you might get by. PS: I'm from Portugal and I think your obsession with a TV show from another country is pathetic.

I think Sharon didn't dare go against Simon's act Bex and gambled that Hope had less votes. Either that or she was under instructions from Simon not to vote out his act so she did what she thought was the next best thing. Sharon knows she is skating on thin ice with Simon and did it to save her own ***. xx

Yes Sharon obviously thought that Hope had less public votes.
It would be fairer if there were only 3 judges - and not allowed to vote for their own

I think she did think that, but on the other hand, she did always praise Hope in previous weeks. Maybe she took the oportunity to get rid of Bev without getting stick off the public !!

I think Sharon didn't want to have the desision of the last act. You know what happens when judges do, and they start yelling at each other, and then trying to get their own back.. Well they can't with her because she hasn't got any acts left, but I still think it;s because she didn't want to make the final decision, and leave it up to the public.

Maybe she did think Hope had less votes, but it was a risky strategy and it's just left her looking indecisive and inconsistent. This series of X Factor is definitely lacking something, I think this particular brand of reality TV has definitely passed it's sell-by date.

I'm confused too! I thought Sharon liked Beverley. She has raved about her other weeks. I didn't understand what she meant tonight either. Did she think that the public would save Beverley?
