If not, they why is it okay to stomp out a growing babies life? Do pro-abortionists understand this poem?

Pretty Butterfly, Don't Cry

Like stepping on a butterfly
Who is wet and cannot fly,
And on the sidewalk, trying to dry,
Knowing rain, the reason why
That its own beauty could not shine
Until the tears of God's great sky
Would set it free, so sparkles climb,
And come to shallow human eyes.
But so, it never did arrive,
That its life could live, but died.
And all that flashed within its mind,
Was that love didn't come this time,
As the whim of foot declined.
Oh, don't cry, pretty butterfly!
Your life, snuffed out, not defined!
Never mind. Go ahead and cry.

If a woman has an abortion, how is she a mother, Lindsey?

To forget war buy more.
I say if we do not win then you will only be allowed to go out and buy what your master says when you go out with a man and this Muslim will not let you out of your chains.

The left would rather save the whales then save a child. To them if they think of it as any thing other then a bunch of tissue then they can not be judged for their self centered evil.

I'm having a lot of difficulty understanding your question. Are you equating the life of a fetus with a butterfly? If so, wouldn't this make you pro-choice? After all, not very many people see the killing of an insect as murder or even as a moral wrong. Both pro-choice and pro-life people give little regard to butterflies. If a person intentionally steps on a butterfly, they have done the equivalent of abort a fetus?

I think your point is that it is wrong to snuff out a life. But because you have implied that all life is equal (the fetus and the butterfly), you have actually weakened your pro-life argument. If abortion is no worse than killing an insect (or using anti-bacterial soap for that matter since bacteria are also life), then there is nothing especially wrong about abortion in a world where nobody cares about the trillions of organisms that die every day.

Good poem but, I disagree with you on this issue. I think it should be a woman's choice if she gives birth and no I would not step on a butterfly. Just because I am pro-choice does not mean I do not have sympathy or empathy.

Sorry, I meant woman and she could be a mother because she could possibly have another child.

After abortions became legal.. No teens were coat hangering themselves to death in alleys and 18 years later crime went down by a huge percentage. I am for abortions because I don't think I should push my beliefs on others. So are the majority of the american people. I don't understand this every seed is sacred bull. The earth is overpopulated. I will not intentionally kill a butterfly.

Just because a person is pro-choice, does not mean they are heartless. I agree, people should be smarter about sex and take all precautions necessary if they don't want to become pregnant, but I also believe it is their choice to make, not ours.

I have no problem with killing insects. Heck, I pay good money every month to have any insects living in my house poisoned.

Nice poem, but I am still pro choice.
If you don't want an abortion, don't have one.

Why would a person who is pro-life not support health care for children and pregnant mothers?
