The majority of the outcry is from straight guys. They often can't see why guys would be attracted to guys, but hey, it's not their fault I guess.

Lots of girls like watching two hot men making out and tend to be more accepting when guys dig guys because it's another connection that they can talk about.

But with straight guys, they want to have their cake, but don't want anyone else to have any. Meaning, they like watching two girls make out, but when it comes to guys making out, heavens no!

Don't worry about, it's just hypocritical :P And there are plenty of people who perfectly accept bisexual guys.

I think it's mostly straight men that have that attitude. Many of them even like the idea of a "session" with two girls who will "perform" together for his amusement. I've found that it is usually straight males who have the most issues with EVERYTHING. Think how uncomplicated this whole world would be if everyone was bisexual. There would be nothing left to fight about except politics and religion. Ironically, that is what the straight males fight about the most. Maybe we could just move all the straight males to an island where they could just fight amongst themselves and leave everyone else alone to live in peace - with whomever they wish regardless of their orientation. A very remote island - with no explosives - or boats.

Probably for the same reason that when a straight guy sees two girls kissing, making out, or having sex, he says "Oh, yeah!"

But if a straight woman sees two men kissing, making out, or having sex, she says "Oh, no!"

There is definitely a double standard between men and women when it comes to sexuality.

Maybe I'm biased, as a straight guy, but I think that women are (for the most part) beautiful creatures, and there is something about the female form that is just nice to look at, even if you remove the sexual connotations (good luck).

The male form on the other hand, is hairy, sweaty, and smelly. It is a machine build for heavy lifting and hunting wild boar. Not really that nice to look at. Honestly, I'm not even sure why women are attracted to men at all. We're pretty gross.

Of course, our evolutionary origin might have something to do with it. In many primate species, it is normal for a single "alpha" male to have multiple female sex partners, while the females would only have one, that same lucky "alpha" male. Of course, he has to constantly guard his position as the BMOC from his own upstart offspring, and other wandering males.

Wow, I just realized this probably doesn't answer your question at all. Oh, well; it pretty insightful anyway.

That's just a generalization. I'm not disagreeing with you, but on the level of individual experiences, that generalization falls apart. There are, for example, a small but devoted segment of the heterosexual women's world primarily or exclusively interested in bi men. (And plenty of bi men and women are solely interested in other bisexuals of either gender.) It is true that there is less social comprehension of bi men than bi women. I strongly encourage you to read the book *Bisexual Men in Culture and Society* (which I am happy to say I wrote an essay for), which is a great book on this very topic.

will people assume that your gay because the way men walk in talk and everything. i was watching the tyra show a couple of weeks ago and a "bisexual" man got up in the audience and said he wasn't sure if he was bisexual, straight or gay. and another gay man in the audience got up and said "you know you're gay so stop fooling yourself" or something like that. so you can just tell a gay man when you see one. i really wish that women could be like that (like you can tell if there bi or lez) that would be easier for me to find a girl.

Unfortunately it is one of those pesky double standards that we cannot seem to get rid of....according to it, there is nothing like a bisexual male....as a proud lez, I think its stupid. Why does it apply to women and not men?
Dont feel that you have to explain yourself to anyone. If noone understands you...its their loss

because men are the weaker sex and they do not poses the ability to comprehend that others choices do not effect then in any shape or fashion, they simply feel compelled to say something rude in order to defend their masculinity as if it where treated in some way. a person who is confident and self aware would respect your choice.

Hypocracy and fear.

Male homosexuality is often automatically equated with anal, which drews an "ew!" factor from many (esp straight guys) which has no exact equivalent in female homosexuality, even though not all gay men engage in anal.
