Super easy to do.

Just buy a cheap thumb drive or SD card. Save your files on the card and then take them over to your Vista machine and read them.

If you save them as a .doc file you can read them with a basic word processor like WordPad.

Your better choice would be to download Open Office for your Vista machine. Its free so no issue there. Then the documents will be fully transferrable between the two machines.

I've been doing it all the time. I make the documents on my EEE and take them to my Vista machine. I download tv shows on my Vista machine and move them to the EEE to watch.

As for the cost....If you don't need the webcam you can get the Asus EEE 4G Surf for only $349 from newegg.com

observed a little one utilising it in a bar interior the French Alps final week; they look rather uncomplicated to apply and correctly designed. If all you desire out of a working laptop or pc is internet surfing, media playback and workplace courses, then that is ideal, however the shortcoming of hard stress storage and a CD stress shall we it down slightly. quite, you may probable desire yet another pc for doing issues which you will no longer be able to do with the Asus Eee.
