....you had the nerve to saw it off?

Did I say where you were when you were trapped?

OK, a rock has fallen from the mountain, crashed through the roof of the old disused and isolated SAW factory, and pinned you down.

Oh, and Dark Knight? The floor as reinforced concrete.

Details, details..Lol.

My grandma used to have this thing that you plugged into the wall and it was supposed to emit a noise or something that would keep away all kinds of bugs and mice. Admittedly she never had any kind of bug our mouse problems, but that may or may not have had anything to do with the little thingamabobber. Might be worth a thought anyway. I'd try another bait, though. Those particular mice may just not like peanut butter. Whole seeds (bird feed perhaps) may work better. Oh, or borrow someone's cat (preferably a decent mouser) and lock it in the garage (with food and water, don't be mean), for a day or so. The cat may or may not catch or even be interested in the mice, but the smell of a predator would probably encourage them to relocate their nest. Or you can probably buy some predator scent meant for repelling mice.

Where I live, it would have to be done quickly. We're having a serious bear problem around here. If I didn't saw off the trapped arm, it would be all that would be left, after a bear or two was finished with the rest of me.

What a question, by the way !

I read about that in some magazine last year...it was a true story. Some guy was rock climbing and a huge boulder shifted in the rocks and then it fell down and trapped his arm under it. The guy was stuck for 2-3 days (maybe more, dont remember) and then he realized he has to cut his arm off b/c he couldnt feel it anymore (he used a small pocketknife). He did it and lived to tell his story.

That article disturbed me and stuck in my head, but if I was in the same situation then Id prob cut it off too (as long as I couldnt feel it anymore)...its either you choose to live or choose to die. What would you do?

Ha, I read that book about that guy. If I had a giant boulder pinning me down, I'd ride out the pain about probably saw it off just like that hiker did.

I could probably last 36 hours, then I'd get to sawing. I'd definitely think any longer than a day and a half I'd start to lose te necessary strength to saw, so it'd be time to act.

I would stay there confessing every sin and begging for forgiveness from God in hopes of a miracle...like someone walking by from the strong man competition.. hahaha I could never saw it off

I would start practising yoga and I would be hopeful to achieve that I wouldnt feel any pain.

but will there be a saw? what if there is nothing around you? what if you go skinny dipping and a rock falls on your arm? then I wonder where that saw will be.

I have to agree with agieagieagie22. I usually don't carry a saw in my back pocket. But if I did, I would use it to carve the letters R.I.P on the rock.

I am in awe of that hiker guy that did this. It isn't a matter of having the nerve- I don't think it would even occur to me!!
Much more likely I'd lay there crying and peeing on myself until I died.

I think it would take at least a week. I'm pretty patient, and would probably just prefer to die before sawing off an arm, and then probably dieing anyways.
