Sharon doesn't like to be the bad guy & this way she can blame the public.
I believe that the winners were chosen weeks ago & that the public vote counts for nothing. Simon wants Hope to win, even though they have no talent, so they will win.

With all the furore over telephone calls from the public not being monitored by the TV companies on other shows, I wonder if the public will actually decide from now on. We never see the results of the phone calls, we'll never know whether the results coming through are genuine. I believe that tonight's result was wrong, and the word FIX does certainly spring to mind. As for comments by funkymo and yellowfish, why do you bother watching these shows? You have absolutely no idea about talent. And why should Hope progress anyway?. They've already been voted off once, they just came in by the back door because they didn't have the talent to make it as individuals. It would be a travesty of justice if they were to go through to win (as well as being the FIX OF THE CENTURY). Maybe they should rename the show that!!!

I think there were two reasons Alsanja why Sharon did that travesty of justice. Firstly she gambled and thought there would be less votes for Hope and secondly she had been under instructions from Simon not to vote his act out so she did the next best thing rather than agree with him - gambled but it didn't pay off. I think Sharon is running scared that she could be axed unless she goes along with what Simon wants.

Sharon did what she did because she thought the public would have voted out Hope as they've been in the bottom two for the past few weeks. This way she couldn't be accused of being petty and voting out Hope because of last week's results. Unfortunately this backfired massively, and everyone on that panel was shocked by that result.

To be fair, Sharon has always supported Hope and although it was a cop out, it was left to the public vote. It's the public who are to blame !!!

I understand why Sharon did it, but what a cowardly thing to do!
She should have followed the courage of her convictions and sent bloody hope home!

I know Iam truly shocked,I mean 'you'll see why later' why did she do that Beverly is by far better than Hope and I think she may even have got less votes because she was good so people felt she was more secure, why are Hope still in?? To many times they have taken a valuable place for someone else.
