All marriages, whether the first or 8th are risky, however, if you keep on marrying for the wrong reasons, they will never work out, no matter how many times you do it.

It may be in some cases, but if it is, it's merely a coincidence. That's an old saying, probably based on the experience of one or two people. I must admit, however, that I have been married for the third time (the first two were real losers), and I am extremely happy in this marriage. Again, just a happy coincidence.

I would not call the third marriage the charm. the charm would be changing something to attract a different style of partner or isolating why the previous marriages failed and correcting anything you may be doing wrong. It could be as simple as you being attracted to the wrong type ,style, maturity level of mate.

Uhhh...most people hope to be married only ONCE. If someone is getting married a 3rd time, maybe they should either give up or look at the common denominator. 3x a charm is a simply a silly superstition. How many times has Liz Taylor been married? Mick Jagger? I didn't see their 3rd time as a charm.

I only know of 3 examples of this,personally, for 2 of them it has worked out so far. the third one was my dad, who was seperated from wife #3 and getting divorced when he died.

i'm the 3rd and he was nervous about trying it one more time.i wouldn't have blamed him for not going for 3 but he decided i was worth it!he's my 2nd and we will not do this again no matter what!he was just very unfortunate with the first 2 and knowing what happened,i don't blame him.
