that if you continue testing on different days that the higher the HCG level is and you take a HPT the control line will get lighter while the test line is getting darker.

I think the control line should stay the same throughout, but the test line would get darker as the hcg levels rise. Maybe you think the control line looks lighter because the test line is getting darker.

I never heard that. The control line shouldn't be affected by your hormones.

The test line would get darker as the HCG levels got higher, but the control line shouldn't be affected.

The color or shade of ANY line on a HPT is nothing more than an indicative result of the amount of dye enclosed in the test cassette.

It has no baring whatsoever on "how pregnant" the person is or how healthy the pregnancy is.

i'm never heard anything like that but you'd have to ask a doctor or someone that might be able to help you more with that
