Unfortunately there is a lot of stormy and windy weather . But as you noticed in the first few days you were here that when it is nice it can be a very pleasant place to be.
I am sure the warmth of the welcome will make up for this awful day of stormy weather . I am on the west coast and the wind is howling as I type this !!

You are in for a treat! I live on the East Coast and it's not enough to say "wind". It's usually "wind and...". Still days are fantastic even in freezing weather as the air is clear and the light really shows up the very 3D scenery in Scotland. Wherever you go make sure there is somewhere cosy to go to and get out and enjoy the weather-but wrap up well. It really feels like being alive.
