Granted they didn't do that well in the SEC this year, but wasn't he trying to build a team? Do you thin he should have been given a few more years. if they had beaten Mississippi stae would he still be there? 0-8 in the SEC is bad but look at the schedule and they did beat Northwestern State.

The multi-billion-dollar industry of major college football is "win now" or "gone tomorrow." Where coaches may have been given 4-6 years in the past, it can a maximum of three years to turn a lousy program into a winner.

The SEC record will be the justification, but what is the commitment by the administration to financially make the football program comparable with LSU, Georgia, Florida. Without the green it doesn't matter who is the head coach.

Oregeron should have been given a one year extension. Your new coach will reap the benefits of his work. Alabama screwed the pooch the same way...impatience.

did you watch the game? he completely embarrassed himself and the team. what he did in the 4th quarter was completely worthy of being fired.
