heres the short version
- friends with benefits for 6 months
- i txt him 2 weeks after last hook up
- he says i have started seeing someone
-one week passes guy txts me "u don"t have to be a stranger"
-I am confused b/c it had only been 1 wk since I txt him when before I could go 2 months w/o txting and no stupid comment like that
-guy informs me he has broken up with other girl
- guy says he "doesn' t want the whole sex thing to make it weird with us" and he understands me backing off but does not want to be "strangers"
- Guy has said this thing before and everytime after hooking up calls to make sure I am ok or thinks I act weird (aka distant)
WHat is the deal with this dude? I just want a friend with benefits but I am really confused about his actions. Are we on the same page or is he thinking something else like no more hooking up or whatever? It's wierd this comment comes after his breakup.

when he says "you dont have to be a stranger" hes saying dont get "lost", dont stop talking to him, dont give him a reason to think youre acting weird, when youre not, right? funnily, ive kinda said the same thing to a chick. but i guess what i just wanted was for her to do her part in being interested in me. i mightve been a little more concerned in what she was doing or who she was with than what she mightve been for me. hes the same. obviously, the hooking up is giving a feeling that you like him also. but after that happens and you DONT talk to him, it makes him think wtf??..
SOO, he just wants for you to keep in contact after what ever it is that you do and for it to still be a good relation after the fact. BUT..BUT, if ALL you want is just benefits, tell him str8 up. dont keep him second guessing. just say im not estranged its just been a week, chill. then proceed to saying that you want nothing serious and etc.

The way you as an individual analyses things and the way you see the world could potentially not be the way the world sees you. Things get lost in interpretations and we bring upon ourselve bad fate. The things you say about yourself have a major impact. The self that is you maybe over inflated in the eyes of the same self but in the eyes of the broader society it could be something else. Most people don't love themselve how can they love everybody the same way..the capacity is vacant. All boils down to negative thinking and you are what you think.

"A friend with benefits" is a way of telling a guy you just want to **** him and expect some type of compensation. From where he stands he just wants to have you around in case he doesn't get L*** and really horny---now he can call you. His not wanting you to be a stranger tells me he would prefer that you keep hoping he will be available---at his any moment. you also asked for that relationship--why do you want to change it? You obviously like what he has to offer at least sexually anyway--good luck

Not everyone (of either sex) can handle sex without feelings or committment. Sounds like he is looking for a real relationship and you're just looking for somebody to release your sexual tension. He sounds like an okay guy, but I think he's going to get hurt if you continue to have different goals for your association.

You say you "just want a friend with benefits" but if thats all you really wanted, you wouldn't be obsessing over this. It will be ok.

I believe he wants you to stay around while he messes up with other girls, that expression can also mean that he wants an oral job.
