It was the ZX-14 but the new 08 Busa is supposed to be faster. It is so close it is rediculous. The better rider would probably win if the two bikes squared off against each other. The other poster is correct, any bike in the US is restricted to 186 MPH. Like it matters if you crash at 186 or 200?

I know Hayabusa stock can do the 1/4 miles in about 9 seconds, 140mph..

All the Japanese bikes are restricted to 186mph.The fastest bike in production is the new MV AGUSTA,can't mind what it's called though.The previous F1000R can also go quick,192mph.0-60,most of the top bikes hover in between 3 to 4 seconds.
