This is from "Dr. Drew" (The technical term for being pee shy is paruresis).

Dealing With It
Whether you're an employee of a large company, a college student living in a dorm, or simply a concert-goer who needs to take a leak at intermission, public restrooms are a fact of modern life. The best way to deal with paruresis is to gradually become desensitized to public restrooms. As Soifer points out, "Each person has an idiosyncratic hierarchy from what's easy to what's difficult."

To get over being "pee shy," begin by constructing a list of places in which it is easy or difficult for you to relieve yourself. A sample list might look like this: "Easy: at home. Moderately difficult: at work, at a friend's house. Very difficult: restaurants, the gym, movie theaters."

Once, you've made your list, the goal is to gradually desensitize yourself to each setting. Start with the easiest place. Go there when there's low traffic (in the "off peak" hours). Next, try the same setting a high traffic time. Improve your tolerance by gradually working your way up to the point that you can go even when a restroom is crowded. You may want to get a friend to tag along to help make the place feel safer for you and to provide a friendly face. Eventually, you will build up a comfort level and be able to pee under any circumstances.

Don't concentrate to those men and women which can be calling you homosexual. That is absolutely now not the obstacle right here. You are thirteen years historical and your frame is exchanging particularly plenty. Erections at that age occur any and EVERYwhere! At essentially the most inconvenient instances. Its a aspect of puberty. You also are certainly curious at this age approximately different peoples our bodies so while you see a person's penis it will make you have got an erection. If you relatively discover this absolutely embarassing and its retaining you from going to the restroom I propose you employ the stalls rather of the urinals. Its now not a gigantic deal. Lots of men do this and they do not have your quandary of having an erection. Don't pressure over it plenty. You'll develop out of it. And if in a couple of years you can not aid however appear at a men penis and get an erection then you will be drawn to guys. Either method, do not fear approximately it proper now.

You might have been nervous because of all the guys around. Very natural, since you're only 13. Try relaxing by taking closing your eyes and breathing deeply and holding your breath. Relaxing will help you pee more easily in such situations.

Your problem is probably psycological, you just can't pee when people are watching you, pretty common, now if the same happens at home you need to drink alot more water, if the problem continues seek medical help.

You have what's know as "Shy Bladder" syndrome. You just need to learn to relax around other guys. I find it hard to believe that you couldn't pee around the rest of the guys at the opera...................................hmmmmmm
