I was the exact same way. I just love kids and babies so much, I didn't even mind the gross stuff, like spit-up and nasty diapers. But at that age, I was also smart enough to know that I wanted to give my baby everything he/she would need and take the very best care of them. As a young teen, I wasn't going to be able to do that. So I knew it was best to wait until I was older and could be the best mom for my child. No matter how badly I wanted a child of my own, I also wanted to be able to give them the very best I could and have a good father for them. I wanted the dad to be grown with a good job, so I could be a stay at home mom. Well, I did wait, and it was all worth it. Being a mom is great, being a mom when you are really ready for it and can take the best care of them is even better!! In the meantime, for now, you can get those "mommy feelings" out by playing with and taking care of your little cousin and maybe getting a babysitting job, too. Hope this helps. ;-P

You will have to check with McDonald's what their minimum working age is. It is likely to be between 14 (the legal minimum, set by U.S. federal law) and 16. The age may also vary from state to state.
DO NOT misrepresent your age on your application. This constitutes fraud and may also be a separate criminal offense in your state. Any misrepresentation on an employment application is grounds for immediate dismissal, even if you do manage to fool them into employing you.
There will be other jobs in your area, such as newspaper delivery, that you can do until you are of the required age.

No because they look at a copy of your birth certificate and your id. Oh and dont think about trying to change their copy of it because you will get caught. Trust me. You can do jail time for that so be careful. Also, if you really need a job, than get one at a grocery store. You can usually be a bag person at 14 for minimum wage. Which isnt too bad.

i dont think you should work there pretending that you are fifteen because they are going to figure out that you are fourteen sometime even if you got through maybe a couple of months...
you should look for a new job or just put up a poster at the library saying that you need a job or just put up a poster that you want to babysit people!!!
that's a good idea

Nope, you'll need to provide working papers you'll receive from the school, ID, and your social security card to the employer to get a job in the United States.

Take care.

no of course not! with all the background checks they'll be doin on you, you won't be able to trick them into believing your 15. I say jus have patience until you relle are 15, or go get a job at a local corner store, deli, someplace where they won't relle care to look at your age/ss#

Honey, you can pretend but they will want your Social Security number. McDonald's was my first job at 16. I hated it. Don't get burnt by the french fry machine!

No, kiddo, you need to present a legal ID and the only one you will have is from school. Tell the school you want to work and you need a permit from school that McDonald's know you need to have....this is legal way to do it.

hehe they have ways to stop that kinda stuff from happening. they WILL ask for proof of age (passport, birth certificate etc) to make sure every detail is correct then save it. so, unless you are the legal age to work anywhere, you will not be able to get a job if your personal documents don't work out. sorry, kid!
