People like info.lottery029@adelphia.net, these people are all in the business to getting your demographics using companys like Microsoft just to make you think you have won why isn't yahoo and other companies cracking down on letting these people or what ever they call themselves doing to get information from the American people?

There is no internet. Each provider like yahoo, AOL, MSN would have to ban them and you can start your own provider to avoid using them so they can't ban you. There are millions of users nobody can police them all and we would call it censoring and be up in arms.

The "Internet" is not based in any one location so it can't be regulated as you are suggesting. Scams such as these are not legal but when the person/people behind them are not residing in your country and reside in places that necessarily wont cooperate with authorities from another country it cant be regulated. Here in the U.S. these types of scams are called "mail fraud" especially if the United States Post Office were to be used for the mailing of these letters. Online Gambling sites are also illegal here in the States but since the operaters are not on U.S. soil they can not be shut down by U.S. authorities but the people gambling can be charged of they are gambling on U.S soil. Our law enforcement agencies regulate child porn and pedophiles because the people or the places that you here about on the news are based in the States or in a country that will cooperate with U.S. authorities
