I haven't seen Hetti, but I do recall my amazement at seeing 3 vultures standing by the road yesterday (true story), they were wearing bibs and had a fork and knife in there wings. (not true) I don't know how far one little chicken would stretch amongst that hungry bunch, so maybe it was another meal they waited for. I do suspect however there is some 'fowl play' going on somewhere.

As in Henrietta? That lady lives on in the downstairs Lobby selling Tamales for a buck each! Give her an extra 20 & she'll add some mota to the mix! She looks like such a nice little old lady with grey hair & her push cart! I have seen her kitchen & I'd never eat her food, so I hope she didn't abduct one of your hens as she was preparing her daily dose of medicine to dish out illegally in my place of worship. I don't eat out anymore. But my neighbors do! They also prey to Mary & hold on to rosaries in a secret room that lies in the basement & in ocean front property 2nd from the alleyway & in the lookout tower that sits next to the newly varnished front door. Look for the wet floor signs that look so funny sitting next to the bucket on top of the soda machine! That leak will never be fixed as long as the Lobby stays busy!

I noticed a hag and a wag together buying carrots, celery, onions and poultry seasoning at the grocers. I overheard conversation pertaining to a ransom and if not paid within 24 hours the stew was on. Do you think this has anything to do with Hettie?

Oh dear! I have not seen poor Hetti, but let me check my dove coop in the backyard. Maybe poor Hetti needed some company and came to visit my doves.

Scoundrels!
Southern Comfort, did you see which way they went when they left the market? Maybe we could follow them, skulking from doorway to doorway, and find out where they have our dear Hetti hidden.
Then we could report it to the family and have an escape party for her.

The poor thing was overworked and underpaid. She told me it was very hard to be at the top of the pecking order and to do it for just chicken feed! I think this is a ruse and she's taking a vacation.
