The Psycho series of movies starring Anthony Perkins are very good. They are directed by Alfred Hitchcock and he is famous for very great thrillers.
The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Leprachun....
There are a wide variety of horror genres out there, from comedic horror to thrilling horror...

The Exorcist, Carrie, the classic "The Blob" with Steve McQueen and The Shining with Jack Nicholson - EXCELLENT movie - I highly recommend that one, along with The Exorcist - The Omen with Gregory Peck is a good one, too. Also, Pet Sematary by Stephen King - great movie as well. Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and the original Psycho with Anthony Perkins. The Haunting, Dead Calm with Nicole Kidman is also a good one, too. Cape Fear is good, too, but it's been a while since I've seen that one.

I don't really know of a lot of movies, but I did watch one last night, it is called The Blair Witch Project. It is not too scary but there were some parts that freaked me out!
