I think most of know where there is one special house or
street of lights that stands out each year. Or a store window
with animated figures that are delightful. What's going on in
your city or town? And what is the name of your town?

We live out in the country, so there's no store displays right here, but there's a house not far away that we like to go see each year. They have Santa, reindeer, all types of various Christmas decorations and a helicopter & an airplane made of lights that blink and make it look like the propellor's going around. It's really a neat sight to see.

ZCMI (department store) had the best display windows. There were animated figures and everything was decorated with candies. There were about 8 different windows. People would come downtown to see the lights at Temple Square and see the windows at ZCMI. Salt Lake City, Utah. I live just north of SLC.

I would love to go back in time and see the wonderful windows in the downtown Los Angeles department stores. The stores in downtown Seattle had Christmas Trees on the ledges of some of the old buildings. That was beautiful, too. My town now is Aubrn, WA.
