ok somy laptop does fine jsut browsing the internet coming onto yahoo. but when I try to play guild wars or any online game I start playing fo about 5 mins then my laptop shuts off. I have the power outlet all plugged in but when I plug it in it just goes orange like it's charging it stays like that for about 30 seconds then just stops. I dont know if its the battery because once I played guild wars for like 1 hour and it didnt shut off. so I went into control panel and into battery or whatever and it said I was connected to av outlet and it had the battery at 0% with a big X throught it any suggestions or help

Your AC adapter might be failing. If the battery was at 0%, something was stopping it from getting a charge. If it's not the AC adapter, it could be the port on your computer that you plug the adapter into that's going bad.

What Laptop is this? Dell, Compaq? It may make a difference!
The processor could be getting hot, depends on the action. Many time a computer "may" shut down if the processor too hot.
I will make a guess, Gateway?
