With gas prices as high as they're climbing, they'll probably
be up 5c more by then. If you're staying home, what's the plan?
Some people like to have an open house, where people come
on New Years Day. That would save YOUR gas problem and
still be socializing.

New Year's Eve.... my husband might stay up until 10:00, but I always stay up until past midnight. My dog and I toast the new year with a glass of wine. I have a glass and I pour a small bit of wine in a bowl for her. I don't go out because I don't drink and drive anymore. New Year's day is the day we take down the tree and put away all the ornaments.

First, let me say Thumbs Up on your additional details. I have no plans for New Year's Eve. I usually do not go out on that night. Not because of age, or gas prices or even the fog we usually have here. I just believe if is a good night to stay home!

We don't have any plans, usually we just stay home and watch the ball drop in Times Square. My sister-in-law wants us to come down sometime around New Years, so we might try to do that. We'll have to see what's going on then. It is getting harder to travel with gas prices rising.

Staying at home and going to bed about 10 as I have done the past several NYE's. That is unless you would all like to come to my house for a party. Unfortunately it would have to be BYOB as the hardest thing I drink is Pepsi!!

I'm off doing a bit of ministry work on my scooter - well you did ask. I'm visiting a lady who is housebound over in a town called Furness Vale which is in the county of Derbyshire as she will be on her own.

Every New Year's Eve, we have oyster stew. It's been a family tradition for years. We're flying to see our daugher in Dallas over Christmas and I suspect we'll have that there too.
