It's different for each woman. Two weeks before I missed my period I had morning sickness. My husband knew then that I was pregnant. I didn't believe it. I actually knew a week later when I had implantation bleeding. That's when I took a test and it was confirmed. Most women say a missed period is the first sign.

My first sign was getting frequent headaches in class time...I always had to ask out of classes, especially French! I thought I was allergic to something in the classroom but it turned out I was pregnant! I didn't find out until three months later when I began to wonder about my absent period. I'm eight months gone now and you wouldn't mistake me for a size zero model! Hope this helps! x

my first sign went unnoticed.. i was at a mets game and i got what i thought was my period, put in a tampon , and then later there was nothing there... the first time i was like oh crap i have to take a pregnancy test was because i was cramping like my period was coming for over a week.. i knew something wasn't right, and sure enough i was pregnant

my first sign was no period, then i started getting tender breasts when I was about 6 weeks pregnant. Good luck =]

there are many different signs that you could be pregnant you can go to babycenter.com and find the signs of being pregnant there

im one of those people who hardly have symptoms during pregnancy, but my first sign was being dizzy. i knew something was up when at work i felt like someone just pushed me over cause i was so dizzy!

For me, it was spotting right around the time my period was supposed to come. MUCH MUCH lighter than a period, just a few dots. Then a positive test.

for me it was sore, tender breasts. That was at about 2 weeks. I had that, and slowly started getting the other symptoms for another couple weeks, took a test, and it was positive. I was 4 weeks when i tested.

Intuiiton in my opinion then confirmation with the lack of a period!
