The tools are used to help you draw, now anyone can learn how to draw in autocad, but if you want to learn how to draft then you attend a school and get nothing less than an associate degree.

AutoCAD is design software for engineering. You would need to get a tutorial to find out what the tools are and what they do. Most people go to University to learn AutoCAD

It is serious software, and takes a while to learn.

Things exist on "layers" which can be turned on or off. Points, like the ends of lines, etc. can be put into 3-dimensional space, and you can view work from any angle, and plot it.

"Blocks" are like stamps, but can have "attributes" that you fill in later.

A file can also have an External Reference, which is like a drawing that somebody else can be working on.

Files can also have layouts, which can put multiple drawings or views into a single file
