My parents are liberal Democrats, always complaining about what they don't have. Waiting for their social security to kick in.
I'm a strong Conservative Republican, and much happier than they are

Both my parents are liberals, though my mom comes from a line of conservatives in politics (judges). I have no intention to get into politics or lead a "socialist revolution."
And before some genius goes and says that I'm a lemming, my political ideas do differ from my parents. And no, I'm not more liberal than them.
