I am planning to stay in Sydney for a couple of days after WYD.
However, am quite lost on where to go.. I am very interested to stay in a ski resort as I am quite crazy about it.(hmm there's no snow in asia) Thing is, I am not sure if I want to stay in the resort for 2 or 3 days as I am not into skiing and stuff. I just want to maximise my stay in Sydney as much as possible. Any suggestions?

There is lots to do and see in Sydney. Check out Whats on in Sydney at http://whatsoninsydney.com.au for information about all sorts of things to do.

Isn't there? I wonder what all that white stuff in the Himalayas and Siberia is then. Australia isn't in Asia anyway. There is snow in Australia but the ski resorts are about five hours southwest of Sydney so a day trip is not really on the cards.

-shudder- WYD...

Sydney is going to be PACKED because of WYD.

Maybe... just go to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Central, Paddy's Markets, all the touristy areas. There are many nice eating places in the suburbs. Miranda shopping centre..

DONT go to Hurstville...

If you want more detail or suggestions... just email me. :)
