Against.

The drug is NEW. And there are NO long term studies done to this drug.

I would not get it and I would be adamantly against letting any of my children get it.

I feel it is wrong to make this a mandatory thing, especially with how new it is and the fact no long term studies have been done.

Also, it states that it MAY prevent only four of the forms of cervical cancer it says it will prevent. Which means it is NOT a 100% effective vaccine!

It needs more studies done, and it needs to be an OPTIONAL drug until those studies have been done and released to the public. The studies need to be done by someone independent, that has no links to the drug or the drug makers.

Every drug, vaccine, and stuff that's over the counter now was scrutinized like this when it first came out--hell, cocaine used to be used freely as a cure-all. I have to take the bad stuff with a grain of salt knowing that. Plus if this were a vaccine for something that caused one of the more "popular" cancers like breast cancer, no one would be saying a damn thing. I've had a cancer scare, and I've gotten the vaccine. Nuff said.
