There's a 12 yr. old girl I know and she prays to God about that but she thinks maybe she should also do something besides praying to him, because he will help her himself, but what exactly can she do? I'm also going to help her, can you please let me know helpful ideas. Thank you....

they basicly need money and government support. She could go to public meetings and cry about it front of everyone. That would pull at everyones heart strings and get them to open their wallets and maybe pass a few helpful laws.

I would recommend talking to your parents and letting them know that you are interested in helping out. They might have some ideas of their own but here are some general suggestions:
-volunteer at a shelter/soup kitchen for the homeless in your area (since you are both young you will likely need an adult to accompany you)
-call up a local organization of your choice and find out what items they are in need of this season, see if you can donate anything
-many grocery stores have food bank donation bins set up, you could buy an entire meal for a family in need
There are tons of things to do, half the fun is coming up with your own great ideas! Good luck!!

Collect winter clothing and winter bed clothes, etc. and either get a group together and distribute them yourselves, or find a group that goes around to the homeless and hands out warm clothing and blankets etc. directly to the [poor souls on the street. As the weather gets colder, there are people freezing on the streets, I feel that this would be really a worth while cause. However, do not let her do this on her own, make sure there are others around her and some adults.

I think this is great as are the answers. I think one of the worst things in our world are those that are hungry and homeless. As already stated, the Salvation Army, Food Bank or other non-profit organizations are great but I would also suggest going to your church to let them know you want to help. There should be a ministry for this but if not then speak to your youth minister or pastor about starting one. Just remember that you should not be boastful and the left hand shouldn't know what the right hand is doing. God will bless you for helping those that are hungry and poor.

The best thing you can do is try to collect canned goods from family members and trusted people on your street and neighborhood! Get an adult to help you start a clothing and food drive in your area or at school and then give your collection to a local shelter! A parent/adult can look up the information and call them about drop offs! Good luck! Its great that you want to help!!

I would talk to her church about local homeless shelters and soup kitchens that she can volunteer at. Since she is 12 she probably couldn't earn enough money to make a big difference, but volunteering and helping out would be something she could do.

Provide him with either food or money, I actually gave a homeless man $30 and some Mcdonalds food.

She can volunteer at a local shelter (preparing or serving food, tutoring kids, etc... etc...), but because of her age, she may need to have an adult accompany her. She can start a collection at her school or church for clothing, food, blankets, toiletries, etc... etc... to donate to a local shelter (contact the shelter for ideas on what they need most). That's very thoughtful! You can give out blankets, toilet articles (soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste), coats or you can volunteer to help in a soup kitchen or homeless shelter. They need help all year round.

look for a salvation army or food shelter and donate your stuff money or time Where i live there is a place called city gate and you can donate food or help serve food or just talk to them it is a good way to give back for what u have been given by God
